Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Gateway Inn Hotel, we strive to offer flexible policies to accommodate the unpredictable nature of travel. Our standard guidelines are as follows:

1. Standard Cancellation

• Free Cancellation: Guests can typically cancel their reservation free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time.

   

• Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the check-in time, or failure to arrive (No-Show), will generally attract a penalty equivalent to the full cost of the first night’s stay or the total booking amount, depending on the specific rate plan.

   

2. Refund Process

• Eligible Refunds: For cancellations that fall within the free window, a 100% refund is applicable.

   

• Processing Time: Once approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Please note that it may take 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing times.

3. Special Circumstances & Non-Refundable Scenarios

• Invalid Identification: Per government regulations, all guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, or Driving License) at check-in. If a guest is denied check-in due to a lack of valid documentation, no refund will be provided.

   

• Booking Modifications: Changes to your stay dates are subject to availability. While we aim to be flexible, modifications made close to the arrival date may incur additional charges based on the current room tariff.

• Promotional Rates: Certain "Non-Refundable" or "Early Bird" promotional rates may not be eligible for a refund regardless of when the cancellation occurs. Always check the specific terms attached to your booking voucher.

 

Traveler Note: If you have booked through a third-party platform (such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, or Booking.com), the cancellation and refund process must be initiated through that specific platform according to their stated terms.
